On October 1, 2012 (Yes, the first day of Breast Cancer awareness month) I found a lump in my breast. I went to my OBGYN and she did a mammogram and ultrasound. Then said I needed a biopsy, which confirmed Breast cancer. I have the details at home, but haven’t committed them to memory. The surgeon gave the standard options of removing the tumor, the breast, or both to be safe. I asked about time to explore another option and he said “OK, but don’t take too long.” I never went back. I came to Hippocrates, did the 3 week Life Transformation Program and learned what I needed to help my body heal itself.
By March of 2013 I had a PET scan and it showed no measurable signs of cancer! I continue with the lifestyle, although not as strictly as I did then, and I feel great! Now will come the test though, my husband of almost 20 years has left me. It is now that I am learning more about the mind and spirit parts of this lifestyle where before the focus was mostly on the food. All is well because with God on my side, I am in the majority! I continue day by day with a life that becomes brighter and brighter!
The key to my story is that I didn’t have to endure the other side of the treatments available. My story is not as dramatic as yours and others, but hopefully gives people courage to seek this route first when your body is still strong and can react quicker than if it had to endure all of the operations and poisons that destroy more than just the cancer cells. Build up the immune system don’t tear it down.
